Lhuiller, Monique

   Born in Cebu, Philippines, Lhuiller attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and aspired to design wedding dresses. She showed her first bridal collection in 1996. With her husband, Tom Bugbee, as company president, the collection expanded and, in 2001, they launched an eveningwear collection. Best known for her exquisite evening gowns and bridal gowns, she presented an entire collection during New York Fashion Week in 2003, which put her on the fashion map.
